Exilium Devlog (Isometric horror/strategy game)


Hi all, after a long break from college and the game, I have gotten back into working on the game. Soon, on the 28th, the alpha for the game will be released for a college assignment. In truth, there is a lot more I wish I could have fit into the alpha, however, it was extremely difficult for me to get back into working on college stuff after such a long break. 

Although it has been hard getting back into working on the game, a decent amount of progress has been made the past 2 weeks. Most noticeable the sound has been improved, the player and ghost models have been changed to better suit the game, The layout and design of the map have been improved, and improvements to gameplay have been added such as a brightness slider and an eye which helps players locate the cursed objects. Further improvements are coming soon, along with new equipment and a new map. I hope to have these in by the 28th of February, however, the map may be delayed. I will attach a link to a youtube video of the current build along with a PNG that shows some of the new stuff I was discussing. I hope to be writing back soon with news of a new build.
